Never miss a Japan-only drop
We check official Japanese sources every day · Updated Sep 05, 2026 15:10 JST
Hello Kitty merchandise sold in Japan is a different catalogue from the one you see abroad: Sanrio-store exclusives, regional souvenir-only designs, fashion and homeware collabs, and limited anniversary runs. Almost none of it is listed on Sanrio's overseas storefronts, so a proxy or forwarding service is normally the route.
Of the 133 drops we have logged: 2 can be ordered from a store that ships overseas; 18 are on Sanrio's Direct-from-Japan store, which delivers to 6 countries only (so most readers still need a proxy); 81 are online but Japan-only, so they need a proxy; 20 are sold in Japanese shops; 12 are events or in-person only. 23 of them are arcade prizes, which are never sold at retail.
We check the official Japanese sources six times a day, so this page reflects what is on sale right now — not an old round-up.
Newest first. Every drop page shows the realistic route and the exact link to order.

Two things sit on top of the item price: the service fee and international shipping. As of September 3, 2026:
Sanrio runs separate stores by region. The Japanese store (shop.sanrio.co.jp) delivers within Japan only, and Sanrio's Direct-from-Japan store currently serves a short list of countries that does not include the US, UK, EU, Canada or Australia — so most Japan-exclusive items need a proxy or forwarding service.
Goods only sold in Japan: Sanrio-store exclusives, prefecture-specific souvenir designs (Gotochi Kitty), Japanese retail and fashion collabs, convenience-store and arcade items, and anniversary runs made for the Japanese market.
It is a normal, established service. You pay the item price, a service fee and international shipping, and the proxy buys from the official store on your behalf. Compare the total before ordering, and follow each shop's purchase limits.
We track official Japanese sources daily and send two free emails a week — a Friday digest of the best drops and a Tuesday reminder of deadlines closing that week, with exactly how to order from overseas.
