Momonga, the flying squirrel with delusions of cuteness, has become a merchandise line of its own — bakery-staff plush mascots, movie figures and collab jewellery among them. Momonga items are slightly less contested than the main trio, which often means a wider ordering window.
Of the 140 drops we have logged: 124 can be ordered from a store that ships overseas; 15 are online but Japan-only, so they need a proxy; 1 are events or in-person only.

How to buy Momonga goods from overseas

- Open the item on the official Chiikawa Market store and switch
the site to English. If it keeps flipping back to Japanese, add
?currency=USDto the URL. - Add it to your cart and enter your own address. Since 15 December 2025 overseas orders are handled by Global-e and shipped by DHL, with duties and taxes calculated at checkout.
- If your country is not in the delivery list, or the item is flagged Japan-only, use a buy-for-me proxy or a Japanese forwarding address instead.
What it costs, roughly
Two things sit on top of the item price: the service fee and international shipping. As of September 3, 2026:
- Proxy service fee — ¥500 per order at Buyee, ¥300 per item at ZenMarket, or from 9.9% down to 1.2% with a $5 minimum at Japan Rabbit.
- Shipping by EMS — about ¥4,400 for 1 kg to Europe, Canada or Australia and ¥5,300 to the United States.
- Duties — the US $800 duty-free allowance is suspended, so US parcels are dutiable at any value. EU parcels under €150 carry a flat €3 duty from July 1, 2026. The UK threshold is £135.
Momonga FAQ
Is Momonga merch easier to get than Chiikawa or Usagi?
Often, yes. Momonga is popular but not usually the first to sell out, so you tend to have longer to order — sometimes long enough for a proxy to place the order for you after the drop.
Can I order Momonga goods internationally?
Most of them, yes — the official Chiikawa Market ships overseas for the majority of its catalogue. Cafe, pop-up and arcade-prize Momonga items are the ones that need a proxy.
Does Momonga appear in the blind-box sets?
Yes. Momonga is normally included in random-pack and soft-vinyl collections, so a full-set purchase is the only way to guarantee getting the Momonga figure.
