Japan-only Usagi merch — how to buy it from overseas
Usagi — the yellow rabbit whose entire vocabulary is enthusiastic shouting — is a fan favourite and gets a version of almost every Chiikawa collab. Because Usagi items are frequently the first to sell out, knowing the drop time in Japan Standard Time matters more here than for the rest of the cast.
Of the 230 drops we have logged: 187 can be ordered from a store that ships overseas; 38 are online but Japan-only, so they need a proxy; 1 are sold in Japanese shops; 4 are events or in-person only. 8 of them are arcade prizes, which are never sold at retail.

How to buy Usagi goods from overseas
- Open Chiikawa Marketthe official store
- Switch to Englishadd ?currency=USD
- Checkout to your addressinternational shipping via Global-e
- Open the item on the official Chiikawa Market store and switch
the site to English. If it keeps flipping back to Japanese, add
?currency=USDto the URL. - Add it to your cart and enter your own address. Since 15 December 2025 overseas orders are handled by Global-e and shipped by DHL, with duties and taxes calculated at checkout.
- If your country is not in the delivery list, or the item is flagged Japan-only, use a buy-for-me proxy or a Japanese forwarding address instead.
What it costs, roughly
Two things sit on top of the item price: the service fee and international shipping. As of September 3, 2026:
- Proxy service fee — ¥500 per order at Buyee, ¥300 per item at ZenMarket, or from 9.9% down to 1.2% with a $5 minimum at Japan Rabbit.
- Shipping by EMS — about ¥4,400 for 1 kg to Europe, Canada or Australia and ¥5,300 to the United States.
- Duties — the US $800 duty-free allowance is suspended, so US parcels are dutiable at any value. EU parcels under €150 carry a flat €3 duty from July 1, 2026. The UK threshold is £135.

Why does Usagi merch sell out so fast?
Usagi is one of the most popular characters in the series, and collab runs are usually produced in equal quantities per character. The same stock therefore clears faster for Usagi than for less-popular characters.
Can I buy Usagi goods from abroad?
Most Usagi items are sold on the official Chiikawa Market, which ships internationally, so you can order directly. Prizes and event exclusives need a proxy or the aftermarket.
What should I do if an Usagi item is already sold out?
Check for a restock first — standard line items are often reproduced. For limited runs, listings appear on Mercari Japan, which a proxy such as Buyee can buy on your behalf.
